Lea & Perrins and HP is like so classic :x

Btw Lea & Perrins is like the secret sauce for a lot of resturant chef :P Try adding some to your sweet & sour pork sauce when you cook that at home and taste the difference

Btw you add a dash only. You don't use it like soysauce hor

huh? use L&P for springrolls? as in for frying the stuffing of carrots, turnips? for that you can probably stick to the usual soy sauce.

elindra SG

I thought is Del Monte?

Heinz for a more sourish tomato taste

Del Monte is sweeter

So it depends on what you like. Sweet tooth MPB prefers Del Monte

tare SG

the ppl in office have xmas lunch and gift xchange later... my gosh i'm the ONLY anti-social one wahahahhhaahaa.... i'll go walk walk later... :P

I think she is just adding a little bit to the sauce la

No matter what you do you have to mix the L&P with soy sauce for chinese cooking

the Bear SG

i like the more sour taste of Heinz ketchup..

but since i don't use much ketchup i leave it to the folks.. and without fail, they get the Maggi sauces

ooo.. lunchtime!

Kuali Baba SG

Woolworth is closing down?

I must have missed that

Anyway folks, good morning

It was announced to the staff at the end of October, and they're not getting paid because there's no more money. Thankfully my friend will start a new p/t job after Boxing Day.

No! I think most ppl here wun even use Maggi sauces unless it's those like garlic chilli

but everytime go relatives place in Johor gotta make do w/ Maggi, Del Monte or Heinz is like alien there *sobs*

Master -_- SG

thank u folks not that i am looking forward to her spring rolls..they are normally burnt before i could even taste the turnips but like all loved ones, i will enjoy and savour her cooking

and you better have use for the rest of the L&P sauce. maybe persuade her to do a steak or meat dish.
